Off towards the eastern fast travel point, near those two rocks. Cloudy day, 1:30pm, literally first day in Oregon, I snagged a 6.946 lb one with it. specifically, facing lake, move to left side of bridge and throw around the mouth of that boulder / cave looking structure, you should see a lot of fish jump in that area and trophy / uni rainbows are more predictable there, but if you throw past it you get some big browns too.Īnd I have definitely caught some good uniques on that rainbow spinner. One of my favorite places is standing on the bridge and just throw where you see them jumping.
Oregon is one of my favorite places to fish in this game, but it seems to me that as long as you catch a lot of fish, you will get those big ones in there too. For bait, I throw everything on 1/0 or 2/0 crickets, natural eggs, spawn eggs and mayflies. These are the lures I caught my biggest fishes on. 75oz rose night narrow spoon (works in daytime too -) ) as well as the Bison nano spinner from the 4th of July event pack or rewards. 5 oz barbless spinner that you get as a reward with red (cloudy) or yellow tail (sunny) gets a lot of great big fish there.
